This is true.For what it's worth, I'm working on guitar and vocal stems and mid/side processing right now. Stereo wideness is wide and stereo! With tight punchy drums up the middle. |

Without listening directly comparing to the last two preceding, i will say, this sounds very good. Did you change the kick drum somehow? It seems more of a pump than a punch now. Again, this is without actually going back and comparing with the other mixes. |

That might be- in fact, I think it is- the limiter talking there. In retrospect, I would prefer the tighter punchier kick, but I did like 17 of these things before I realized ear fatigue had totally set in and I was just making things worse.

Most excellent. To my ears sounds a bit like a mix of The Cure (guitars) & DM (Synthy parts). That is totally a compliment, but I assume you would know that. |
