As her Christmas present. :poop:

The guitars tones were all my seven string with teh Seymour Duncan Distortion set > Maxon OD9 > Focusrite Saffire interface > LePou Rectifier sim > S Pres High impulse

Vocals and acoustics recorded with an Audio Technica AT2020...

All the synths and the bass were from Reason 4.

Try to make it as far as the bridge section at least. :lol: That part's the gold.

The entire batch is inspired by this ringtone she has, it's some In Flames song that sounds like a melodeath band covering the Full House theme. That and Disney music once the bridge hits.

Just wanted to add that it's disheartening to listen to this; you get better recorded brootz tones from a free plugin than I've ever been able to get out of my amps and mics

This guy is fantastic.


I am pleased to say she liked it a lot. I posted it at HCAF and from the feedback I got I realized just how badly a song this cheesy would fare with most girls. Let alone most listeners in general. Maplitonians and my lady, they are a special kind of person. :D

Yus. It is all LePou VSTs, and Catharsis impulses, both of which are free.

I definitely wouldn't expect maybe 70% of the the meatsacks over there to get it. :red: I am ceaselessly amazed that so many of those guys actually have girlfriends/wives/kids. :red:

sexcellent, I'm gonna give these a go since mic'ing up my amp never sounds good any more and it doesn't really do metal tones without sounding dull or muddy.

I didn't get to listen to the song yet (Too busy working on a song for MY girlfriend [It's just a song, albeit an incredibly awesome song, but she's the only one aside from me and my family {But only incidentally from me recording it without headphones}] to take the time out at the moment), but this comment filled me with all kinds of :lol:s. If my high school friend and I had ever gotten our band off the ground, one of our plans was to do just that...do a melodeath rendition of the Full House theme.

That cheesy melodic intro was so fucking sick. I figured you were ugnna continue the sickness but then you went into some death shit that had nothing to do with the intro and lost me.
