These are my samples, so don't expect some Steven Slate shit to beef up your metal mixes. (I confess, a couple of the kicks and snares have shown up on metal mixes in the distant past. We're talking PT 5 on OS 9 and SoundReplacer here to blend them with the original shitty kick and snare. )

These are more electro-flavored. There's an 808 and a 909 and random obvious drum machine sounds and fucked-up sounds. Do what you will with them. :snax:

Much appreciated.

I downloaded a retarded amount of one shots the other day, now I just have to weed through the crappy ones.

I guarantee these are not crappy ones. :monocle:

The noisier ones also sound cool when you only have 'em as a 16th note and the sampler clips off the rest. I forget what I did for my noise snare, having made it aeons ago, but it's... nasty shrieking noise. :D

I have some Ultrabeat kits I made for these if anyone else here uses Logic.

Would anyone be interested in this large ass collection of supposed Slate drums that I have?

I just converted all of the .gogs to .WAVS, there are kicks, snares and toms.

:idk:

Someone else should hear them and see if they sound good. I honestly can't tell the difference, and have opted to SD2.

PM a link to me. Sampling in Logic is easy as proverbial pie. I could give them a listen?

So I'm ... uh ... kinda uploading all 1000 or so sample files to Dropbox ...

So hey, once they are done I will post a link to the folders, if they are deemed usable by Snaxie I will leave them up for a free-for-all for a while.

So you're making me the arbiter of good taste? :poop:

Anyhow, it probably would have been a lot easier if you put the whole lot of them in a folder and .zip-ed it.

Dropbox is just taking for goddamn ever to upload them.

Good god that was difficult.

Anywho, tell me if there are any issues. I wouldn't be surprised, Dropbox had three errors trying to upload these.

These are real, by the way. I forgot to mention this. Sounds like mostly hard hits with a few variants.
