But then is it fine the way it is, since it's going to change pace anyway by the time the clip has ended (more material to come after it)? I really can't tell right now. |

Yes. I am lacking tightness lately. I have been practicing much more drums than guitar. I intend to record this and four other songs for the next Dimensions Divide thingie, but I am going to have to get my chops back together first. |

I've been working on tightness a lot lately... especially with alternate picking. I kept noticing that in everything I quad tracked, my alternate picking sounded like mush. I've gotten much better in that regard, but I've lost some of my trademark speed... I can't even play Mehcore anymore (You know... the one song on Youtube that blew my channel up), at least not at the 215 bpm I recorded it at. |
