That doesn't sound nearly as bad as i was expecting. Seems like actually an okay mic for a putting in a toy.

When I was little I recorded everything with it. And listening back on something other than the built in speaker, I'd always be thrilled at how decent it sounded.

My friend and I recorded fake radio shows on one of those.

I did a drum recording for the black metal project yesterday with the Talkboy inside the ceiling as a rather abyssal sounding room mic. It excelled at the job. It's 'Skinned and Denounced' in the Daidricon link in my sig.

I'mma have to listen to this when I get home from work.

My first thought without hearing would be to throw it up in the room on a drum recording and compress the shit out of it.
