First solo is the LP, second the Strat. :mexican:

Clean and crunch:
Lp on the left
Strat on the right

That sounds pretty spiffy. You have built yourself a nice maplification unit there. I really don't have much to say beyond that; if you said it was a Bad Cat versus a clone I'd have believed you. There's a certain character to the gainy leads, especially in the attack, that reminds me of- here's a reference for you that we're both very familiar with- Steven Wilson's lead tones on In Absentia. You done builted yourself something quite nice there. What speakers are you using?

The lead tone is very distinctive the handful of times it gets busted out on that record- it has some serious girth. And is a great mix in general; put it on your best system and turn it up. Tony's amp sounds like it does that, as well it should, seeing it's the same damn thing.

You guys make me blush

The speaker is the Cannabis Rex in my 2x12 mic by a SM57... A little off center and a little off axis...

I dialed in the LP just right and when I switched to the Strat I lowered the edge some and lowered the brilliance and treble a touch.

What are your dirty channel settings, anyhow? I fought with the dirty channel when I spent time with a Hot Cat.

Cong-rats on having a nice and proper rig there. :isay:

LP:

Gain @ 12:00
Edge @ 1:00
Level @ 9:30ish
Bass @ 8:30
Treble @ 11:00
Brilliance @ 12-12:30ish
Master @ 9:00

Strat same as above except:
Edge @ 11:00
Treble @ 10:00u
Brilliance @ 11

The crunchy rhythm tracks were the same setting but with the gain 8:30-9:00

Its kinda hard to read the settings when they are upsidedown  u
