The perils of trying to accomplish things with fun noisemakers around. Not much is accomplished, but much noise is made.

Synthetic grooviness. :dance: No guitars. Novation, Absynth, a sampler that I think wants to be a Minimoog, tortured piano, Stylus RMX, Ultrabeat.

Guitary angriness. :rawk: No synths. Geiger Counter, Silver Machine, Digitech Synth Wah, Eventide.

First one sounds trademark Snax, I suppose a lot because of the specific synth sounds you use.

Second I dug a bit more, it boogied. :mexican:

Moroteuthis sounds like the awesome "creepy level" of some badass Super NES game.

Feedlot seems a bit to desire the heavily distorted vocal offerings of Al Jourgensen.

Re: Geoff's comment on the first one, I suppose I do have a bit of a sound on the electronica stuff. Crunchy drums, fairly aggressive analog/virtual analog synths and floaty ethereal pad things make regular appearances. (As does a shocking amount of live bass guitar, though not here.)

And the Ministry is strong with the second. I totally hear that. :lol: I'm rather fond of the... Pig squeal? Whatever livestock noise guitar in there if I do say so myself. If I were smart I would have written the settings down.

Yarr, Ministry or i was thinking Revco. It has that Ministry-crossed-with-Front242 sort of flavor to me.

As for oldschool videogame soundtracks. There is definitely a certain type that i really enjoy. Haunted House/Ghostly Dungeon level stylee inn particulate. The universe should indeed have way more of those. :isay:
