Thanqs guise!
Both. There's a number of organizations around here that want physical press kits, so something needs to be included (not the full thing of course; I'm thinking of kicking those off with a sampler track of bits of various material + perhaps a couple "radio edit" versions sans long intros and whatnot). We have no intention of selling the things, but rather foisting them upon people at shows.
The conclusion was we need to gig a lot more, like a lot a lot. Which we're all fine with. We're in a rather unique position for a band of not-kids-anymore re: the flexibility of our schedules, so we can gig during the week, play out of town, etc.
So how much of an actual pressing, I don't know. No point in a large run these days unless you're touring proper. But having a few on hand is nice to throw at people (and college radio; the one near my house at least likes us). That being said, we have a QR code for the download page (currently occupied by nothing) that we intend on throwing on everything as well. I will never bother to make another flyer (as opposed to a full-size poster; different animal) without one. I don't think I bothered with a single flyer all last year anyhow; we figured them a waste, especially seeing as we do everything on 100# glossy. QR code, now, not so much- the assumption being someone sees that in a bar or wherever and will be inclined to scan it because it's there.
But yeah, I digress on promo stuff.
Oh, and Cam, destroying any part of the Pacific Northwest is fine.
I'll try and do something different for the next batch o' stuff. Though what, I don't know.
