Well, since you're asking us to guess, either not very at all or really retartdedly loud. It sounds loud though, and the feedback is pretty awesome. It has a cool texture to it- it sounds large and unfriendly.

Loud enough to totally drown out the monitors. I could just barely hear the click. :lol: These Yamahas get pretty fucking loud too for nearfield monitors.

The Metal Muff does some pretty fucked up things to the overall tone. Fucked up things that I like. It turns the characteristically smooth Recto into an abrasive bastard with intent to maim. Which the ONLY thing I dislike about the Recto is how mellow and smooth it sounds. Fixed that. :lol:

Now, I have no experience with the Metal Muff. I'd figure a normal Big Muff into a Recto would be a smooth, bassy thing- just a big wall o' fuzz, basically.

What channel/mode was the Rec on?

The Metal Muff isn't really related to the Big Muff. It's a standard metal pedal. Like an MT-2 but without the things that make an MT-2 an MT-2. According to some dude on HCAF (like 4 years ago), the Metal Muff actually contains the entire Digitech Grunge circuit but with a whole bunch of extra shit around it.

Totally random, not really related question for you, Curtis- how are you doing your reamping? Do you have a "proper" reamp box? DI in reverse? Running from the line out on your inyourface and damn the consequences?

Sounds pretty gnar, a bit midsquashy on its own, but doesn't come across as powerfully so with the rest of the mix. I always meant to check out the MM circuit, but still haven't gotten around to it. :red:
