It's maybe a bit rough around the edges but I'm just glad I actually stuck with it and got round to programming all the drums for something, it's the first time I've done this in ages. As always it's my usual style of simple fadgeslapping rock riffs/structure Not sure whether to add a solo under the different riff. I need a band to play this shit with live, it'd be fun.edit - re-did some bits and added a short uninspired solo ![]() http://soundcloud.com/tom_the_beast/170812-2 |

You need to move to the southern USA, sir. Actually, there are kind of a lot of bands playing southern tinged heavy rock up here too. This tune reminds me moast strongly of the band from Left 4 Dead 2. You need that type of gruff hairy dood for a singar. "A SUITCASE FULL OF PISTOLS AND MONEY!"

That's the plan. As always I can't find any good local musicians. I have a friend who wants to play guitar in a band with me and he may know a drummer but nothing ever seems to happen Probably has something to do with all the "lets start a band" conversations taking place whilst drunk ![]() Also I still need to get a bass for recording, octaved guitar sounds like shit and I can't be arsed with programming bass any more. Considering selling my Epiphone to fund one but not sure as the Epi was my first decent electric. I just never play it any more and a bass would be more useful. |

didn't Clutch have some songs on the L4D2 soundtrack? I would love that kind of vocal. Anyway I re-did it a bit with added rock. Link amended in OP ![]() Also my guitarist friend and I have already decided on our band/first album names for our southern rock influenced riff band. The name is Shotgun Royale and our first album will either be Blood Sweat and Beers or Shred City Overdrive.

Shotgun Royale and Blood, Sweat and Beers strongly approved. I dig this flavor of bloozey-rawking. Guitar tone is delicious, riffing is good times, 's all I have to say on the matter.
