These are all clips of my Gibson that I've been going back through and listening to but I've never posted them here.

Kind of a "woe is me, my favorite guitar is gone" thread.

Yarr, that was a fine sounding geetar.

Do you have the serial number or anything like that, that might lead someday to the guitar returning?

So of all your high gain amps which do you like best?

Recto.

Probably the 2nd favorite would be the e530 but it really only works in the room... I can never get it to sound as good as I want it to on record. :hypno:

Ahh nice. I've had some very hit or miss experiences with them. Like at a rehearsal spot we used to use, the Marshall broke down so they brought a recto out and we're all like 'whoaaa!'... but there wasn't any usable low end in it, at any high gain setting. Pure mush, it was like we were permanently on the neck pickup. Also a guy I used to play with, his just had this gross sounding midrange. Also couldn't be dialed out. But then I know a guy whose triple recto sounds insane, and I know if you like yours it must be sweet ass. Oh and the guys from Fatality (local band) have one that I couldn't make sound bad.

Mine's a pre-500 DR. Vintage Red never fails to sound awesome with an 808 in front of it.

Gnarliest sounding amp I've ever heard.
