Here's a newer mix with automation on the kick in and snare bottom on the blasts and whatnot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l2t5jol66pffk ... 5.wav?dl=0 It is being mastering by someone else but I printed the Decapitator's parallel distortion onto the mix. |

I prefer your master to what they went with. Still loud and mean, but whoever mastered it hit it a bit too hard with the smush stick, IMHO. I liked what you had going on for a snare sound, and preferred the guitars. About the only thing i like more in the mastered one is that the bassamaguitar is enloudenated. Still cool as hell man. You have some good connections for some solid band noise to record. Keep up the keeping up. |

I can't say I don't agree. His mix is also a little louder though, to be fair. He was quite insistent on someone else doing it because "no one should master a record they mixed" which I told him is contextually a myth. |

Pre-pro for Alex's mathrock band's album. Just threw up some mics in the living room and they jammed it out live. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tnir1fnpkn715 ... 4.wav?dl=0 Record will be tracked separately, going to tha local geetar store and rent out their big room to track drums in. |

Glad you dig it, man. They're definitely shredders proper, this particular one is a little sloppy but it's one of my favorite tunes of theirs. Going to be fun getting tones and all that cause well, I don't have to worry about them being able to play their shit. Drummer rocks concert toms, so that'll be interesting.. |

I realize this is bordering on an absolutely fucking stupid amount of reverb but I kinda love it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/56sxwo9x1luuk ... 1.wav?dl=0 |

I'm excited for you to hear the rest of it, I think it's coming out excellently. Tones are, IMO, the best I have got by a large margin. On another note, tracked this band a couple days live in the ol' basement, still gotta do vox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o16vapqoiu53x ... 1.mp3?dl=0 There is no fucking pacing to my recording streaks. For whatever reason shit just can't not pile on top of one another. |

Another update, now with bass and some additional mixing: https://www.dropbox.com/s/95ri3a2aw7yrj ... X.wav?dl=0 I feel like I'm getting pretty close besides getting the vocals in there and sending it off for a proper, fancy master. |
