Another band I joined to play grind drums (which is almost the same lineup as Vesication, where I have played grind drums for the past six years). Two vocalist set up, one is the guy from Vesication and the other is Bob from Cuff doing pitch shifter. This track is the 'single', the rest isn't available yet for listening but if you guys like it I can hook you up with a download.

Went for a mushy snare sound, that's kind of my sound with this band. At least on recording, I think it wouldn't work out live.

The way you abuse compressors is preferable to the way most other people abuse compressors. This thing sounds like a fist. :dukes: Has impact, not just a steady-state wall o' stuff- funny how that actually works when you do it right. Had to go back and listen to it more than once. :huzzah:

As mentioned, the compression is killer. It's giving it momentum and swing rather than killing that sort of stuff. Sounds fucking awesome. :huzzah:

I'm kind of dumb about compressors and am not sure what I did correctly with this mix, but woo! Duly noted.

If any of you want the rest the EP is here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/tvzhzevdt ... es+MP3.rar
