Guitars are XXX. Bass is pitch shifted guitar. I have a real bass now, but it's a piece of shit and won't stay intonated.

I think it turned out pretty cool. :idk:

EDIT: Remix, brought the guitars and bass up, reamped through the XXX (I love being able to record DIs along with my amped tracks...), and tweaked the snare sound a good bit. Should sound considerably better now.

That it does. It's basically what Disdain for Life (my extra rock band) is turning into.

Nice. I especially enjoyed the chordy riff.

My one gripe is that the tom beat near the start... if I had programmed it it'd not follow the exact riff as much as it would groove around it? But that is just a minor thing, a matter of taste really.

The drums are basically a guideline for my drummer at this point... For this band, I'd much rather mic up his kit and let him go to town because he's a damn good tight drummer that's been playing for 15 years (since he was 10). They say "I want you to beat the shit out of the toms here, follow the guitar here, do your own thing there" and so on. He had trouble with the main riff when we jammed out... the 6/4 part threw him off, so this should help him get the jist of it a bit better.

I played drums for a couple of years when I was an adolescent pussy chaser, but I am by NO means a drummer.

And by the way, I agree with you totally.
