Ibanez used this time, in C# standard vs. drop D (as the drum jam was tuned), and fat 12-52s vs. 10-46s.

I was originally going to use the bass guitar to simulate a subdrop, but I found an 808 in my 5 gig sample collection, and my eyes lit up with glee. :rawk:

That's a fairly subtle subdrop compared to the one in my shit. Also at a higher pitch. That one's more of a 60hz bam, mine's a 40hz BOOOOOM.

The headphones I'm using are probably unable to recreate that low of a boom so it doesn't show up as loud for me.

Burn it to a CD, and go listen to it in a car with subs. Your nostrils will jiggle. Especially since you have some sort of superextrahardcore nostrils.

A "final" mix of it, with 6505 added and new kick and snare samples. This kick sample is fucking sex.

6505 tracks are processed to fuck and back, XXX tracks are dry.

The 6505 is the hardest amp I own to get to sit comfortably in a mix. Then again, I hardly play through the thing anymore. Just use it for tracking sometimes. I always play through the XXX or the JSX.

The 6505's strong suit is that it sounds good when blended with just about any other amp. I can't get magical amazing tones with it by itself, but it blends well with other amps.
