I think my style seems to be going away from the riffy things and more in a punky direction. The song is quite generic in structure but I'm quite pleased overall. Also, I used Amplitube 3 as I've lent my friend my SM57. I've got it sounding surprisingly close to how my Laney sounds, actually. Much better than amplitube 2, but also a lot more options to spend hours tweaking and it's still not quite there. Bass may be too loud in the mix, it's hard to tell without monitors. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=9819695 I need a band as I imagine this would be fun to play live I also found something weird, that my musical inspiration seems to come back in the winter.

I dig it. Bass level seems fine to me here. Works with the mix as it stands currently. Has that punkmiddy honkbass sound to it. |
