3 different versions of Erotic Minion from the previous thread. Same mix, sent through different things.

Version 1 is sent from outputs 7-8 of the Focusrite into the ART DMPA with Mullard 12AT7s and the FMR RNLA on the insert.
Version 2 is the same chain minus the compressor.
Version 3 is straight in-the-box, with SoundToys Decapitator and Logic's opto compressor on the mix bus; my usual chain. Minus the EQ I've taken to using (top end boost around 10+k, low cut around 40hz).

Note these are neither mastered nor normalized and the levels are thus rather low, so turn them up.

I'll give my opinion eventually. I know which one I like better, and why.

FWIW, everything here is hard-panned L/C/R 'cept for some of the drum machine bits.

I like version 2 best.
Something about the compressor not being there sounds better to me.


Something about the bass, I think.

Also, the third is my least favorite.
