Why they wanted to release a brooding, mostly instrumental art piece as a promo thing I don't know, but it's going to some college radio stations, who will actually play it, so... :idk:

This was originally purple and grey, but we decided to go with the "Republic" theme for the show, and it's right before election day. A quick bit of Photoschnappes trickery to the original art actually produced a few cool results entirely by accident. The stage lights and background texture imply the stars on the American flag, Chris upfront with the mic at the synths implies podium, and the owl on the club logo makes a passable stand-in for an eagle here. Total accidental symbolism; totally works, so we're going with it.
