Well, it looks like I will be building a Fuzz Factory.

I really would recommend it. I have been making nintendo noises for the last two hours. :D

It is definitely the finest "fucked up fuzztoy" i have built yet. The others i built were disappointing, so i put off this one for a long time, but it really turned out to be a great toy. :isay:

See, that is exactly what I want.

Well I have my next build, after I figure out that goddamn BMP.

Well, i messed around a small bit with drawing up some new pictarz for my shredmaster.

I am not going to use the picture or the name, just smushing things together to see if anything interesting pops up really:

But not feeling terribly inspired(motivated) to do pedal graphics, i guess. :idk:

Unrelated except for the presence my current fixation on mixing pistachio green and orange, i also drew this earlier:

I have no idea what it is about.

Aye, the bottom one is a scanned inky drawing.

And bofe have various colorings with the old Wacom. It is cool, but i wish i had one of the new higher resolution ones. I tend to use it more for coloring in than drawing, due to its less precise(than a pen) nature. Using pressure sensitive brushes in photoshop is a good time though. :huzzah:

But, like drawing the fuse on the Beetle, pretty much impossible with the tablet. If i were to do that for realz, so it didn't look so ass, i would have to draw it oldschool with a pen and scan/edit it in.

Oh, and here is the originaler scanned one. I actually prefer it to the coloring book version, but whatever, i was bored, and the tablet is fun:

That's bizarre and random. I like it.

I could probably do well to track down one of those Whack 'Em tablets. And maybe a real scanner someday.

The newer Wacoms are fucking badass. The higher the resolution and the bigger the physical size of the tablet, the better.

It is strange at first to get used to the fact that the physical location of the stylus always corresponds to the same location on the screen, rather than how the mouse works, but the ability to accurately/quickly freehand curves, and to use the pressure sensitivity(can control line width, opacity, pretty much whatever you tell it to, or all of it) to surgically alter, is pretty amazing to work with.

And the way i work, i pretty much have to have a scanner. I often scribble randomnesses into the margins of things, or onto post-it notes, or bank statements. Anything worth retaining, i generally have to scan in, before the original is lost to the tsunami of violence that is my general technique for storing random scraps of paper.

That sounds .

The stylus/screen correspondence actually makes sense to me.

I just have a tendency to lose things. And sometimes find them years later. And sometimes not.

Oh it makes complete sense. It just takes some retraining to physically use it correctly. For a while i kept trying to work in a tiny comfortable corner of the tablet surface, as i would with the mouse, moving, lifting, moving. Like i didn't think about it, it was just what my hand wanted to do, like it had for the twenty years or so before.
