Wrote a main/intro riff and recorded that. Decided I was going to try and solo over the rest of the song. Improved something to get the feel of what I was trying to, and ended up liking it so much that I just rolled with it. Now to bassticles and ghetto-mastering and Ill upload it. |

Also you will probably be able to tell, but I half asses the bass and mixing. I am just tired and don't feel like dragging it out another day, considering it wasn't really a project I was that into. Basically because the drums are just silly. What did you guys come up with? |

Alright. You did something over it and I will give you credit for that. Thats all I wanted to hear. I wrote a 6 minute song over that drum jam like 6 months ago so if you wanna hear it, look for it |

Devin, that was like a nuclear explosion dropped from a hipster's airplane. I commend you for detonating Killzone's drums with a cloud of radioactive irony. |

That is pretty much the best compliment ever ... I think.
Well I figured it was going to be ubar-br00tz. I did not expect those kick drums necessarily. |

I want to turn this into a thread where people give me drum beats and I turn them into hipster music. |

So I plugged in my fiddle today and I still had my amp + pedals setup for that ridiculous lead tone. I am liking it ... a lot. I think I may hold on to the Whammy until I can get a Mothership +Exp pedal for analogue whammeez. |

The problem with the Mothership is you have to tune the Mothership. Also, it's stupid expensive. I honestly would not have bought it when I did were it not for the fact I found it ubercheap (comparatively) on TGP. |

Yeah the Mothership + Echolution is pushing $1000 new ... I have been looking out for used ones, but ... Yeah still pricey. It just sounds soooooo good. But, looking into the Echolution, I am wondering if I would be just as happy with a DL4. Gives me my pristine cleans, reversey effects and it has 3 presets + tap tempo + exp. out. Plus I can get it for half the price . But yeah, the Mothership brings all sorts of nifty features that I wantses. But I ain't gettin' it 'til I sell me whammy! |
