Since it's recorded to the grid can't you copy pasta the wave forms of a couple bars of tight riff over loose riff? I do that shit all the damn time. I am teh cheater.

Ah yes, ToS was like that too when we recorded things that never saw completion (Death covers). Fuckin' guy...

Although I could just play each riff once and copy paste the entire thing and be done with an entire album in like a day, I try to play the entire song, probably in multiple takes, and then I do copy pasta and editing to cover up the bad parts.
