Post Re: Jet City
Chris from Garda and I have been discussing the 11R as a possible hardware solution for me so I wouldn't have to run GR5 off the same lappie as the sequencer. I was doing some reading, and I found it surprisingly well thought-of for the feel (Avid makes noise about the input impedance) and the low to mid-gain tones (vs. cleans and robogain, which modelers historically do well enough). Chris mentioned it 'cause they go cheap used; about $400 is the going rate. And- I did not know this- it's an 8-input + SPIDF audio interface in its own right. Throwin' that out there.

Post Re: Jet City
yeah, it's less than half the cost of the :snax: so I may have to just go that route to get started. I am sure if I like the idea of the modeling route I will at some point go to the Axe, but the 11R is such a cheap way in....
