I should have noted that specifically i require it to be 16 Ohm!

If the price was dirtcheap for 'em, i would do two, but realistrically one is all i really need right now.

Aha! I just so happen to have one, and it is indeed a 16ohm. It's the one I pulled out of my 800.

For now i am going to run a patchwork 4x12 with the classic old matchless pairing(G12H30 + V30) in the two bottom slots, and two solid greenback-ish ones(a lesser known korean speaker called Sammi) in the top slots.

Part of it is just to give myself some more close mic options.

Part of it is just about spending some time with some speakers i should be more familiar with, personal experience-wise, so that i might better be able to determine what i want to put in a couple new cabs i intend to build down the line.

The Sammis are actually pretty good for a greenback sound, but now mine a pretty well broken in, they tend to lean a bit dark/dull by themselves, and i prefer a bit more mid and edge to at least be available. I find the H30 i got from Tor to be a bit excessively high-ended+low-ended(meaning it feels slightly scooped or something to me, but in a weird way) to run by itself. Rather than go with two of each of those, i figured i would like to see what i would get from tossing a third speaker type into the mix.

Theoretically, these three should get along decently. I hope that the two softer sounding speakers in the angled section will offset some of the beamier quirkier/strident sounds i expect from the H30/V30 pair.

While i am mostly aiming for close mic'ed choices, i also wouldn't be surprised if i wind up getting a solid sounding cab out of the three in general. Between the three, you have basically representatives of the two eras of Matchless speaker pairings, together. And if anything, that is the type of amp most like what mine winded up being, so i suspect that they will all get along okay.
