I liked that mic a fair bit while it was here. Pretty cool on acoustic, voice, and also serviceable as a tight (slight high pass style) kick mic. Actually, out of the two MXLs he sent me, it was the 990 i dug the most too. Has a big LDC-sized body, but an SDC capsule, and sound, innit.  If i had dollars, i would probably buy the pair.  Though actually Dev, you may want to look up 990 prices some. New with a shockmount is a bit less than what you have there. You might get lucky with a sucka elsewhere, but maybe not.

Yeah I know but I can't edit anything, thus the constant quoting. If somebody with mod powers would like to change it to $50 (EDIT- *POOF* tor)and both for $90 that would be cool. Or I'll just requote it again I suppose. |
