Hey kids I am broke after the move and have significantly less space, so I am repushing the spam.

The interface is no longer for sale as I can't afford a new one, and it is working just fine.

Help a brother out and relieve of some gear.

Le sigh,

I REALLY want the J. Mascis Jazzmaster so a bunch of this stuff is going to get reposted on CL and the Bay possibly, though I am not so sure about eBay these days.

I hate selling stuff to strangers.

Updated with combo prices. I bought the JM and need to get rid of gear because my apartment is fucking tiny.

I will probably leave these up here for the next couple of weeks then it is all going on the CL.

Big update!

The 990 is gone to Cam!

I decided I only need 1 amp for the apartment, so I am getting rid of some smaller amp bits!

Also the G-Major is on the block, as I really only use it for the Delay, Reverb, Trem and Comps (they are 'mazing), so I am just going to get individual pedals.

Also open to trades on different things.

I really want that H30. :red:

What are you looking for for the cab+speak, or just the speak?

I am broke, but curious.

Also, could potentially trade some pedlols. I have ratbits, hotcakebits, trembits, *possibly delay bits. I would need to actually get boxes for them though, so i am not talking about like doing this right now, just as a possible/potential future course.

(* I just built one that i don't know if i want to let go yet. Also have the modded Danecho though.)

I honestly have no idea what those things are running used these days. But, the idea of trading is not a bad one. I would probably want to wait until the G-Major was gone before I did that (makes explaining these things to the wife easier when I have less stuff and surplus money :red: ) as for now I am set and do not have a lot of spare money to play with.

Yarr, i am definitely too broke to even ship pedals, much less acquire boxes to finish them at the moment. But i do have a few pedals' guts built out of completely random parts that could be simply/unpainted boxed and done up relatively on the cheaps(like properly cheaper than the two i built you from scratch with all nice new bits).

If you still have the speaker/cab whenever i finally get a chance to make pedals out of them, i will let you know what i have and what i'd want for it. :huzzah:

Sounds like a plan. I haven't really bothered listing this stuff elsewhere as I have not the need nor desire to put up with juggling spam, so chances are it will be here for a while until I really want an AC15.

Added and changed some things.

Solid and cheap tuner for sale, and a combo price for the LNT and 2x10.

What are you using for a tuner now instead of the GFS? I was curious as to whether that one was any good.

Right now the G-Major mostly, since I am constantly running through it anyway.

This one is good. Works great for guitar, a bit more finicky with bass but usable. Built well, seems like it could take a beating, but this particular one has sat in my bedroom its whole life.

One thing I like is how huge and bright the screen and indicators are. I usually have to squint with pedal tuners, but the big display fixed that.

After I sell it and the G-Major I will probably buy the TC Polytune, because it looks cool.

Added the SX Bass and more combo deals.

Re: the Polytune, Chris-from-my-band has the TC Polytune app for his iPhone. Not the same, but we've used it. It works really, really well. The concept is cool, especially for those of us who play in boring-old-standard. I kinda want one, but can't justify the expense for just a tuner right now. You can tune up real quick with that thing. We were shocked by its efficacy.

Yarp, i was looking at the GFS as a ghettocheep. If i wind up being able to spend a bit more, i would probably go for that Turbo Tuner jobber, as it gets very positive reviews and is totally reasonable dollarwise for something accurate plus proper strobe tuner action.

The polytune, is nifty looking, but i don't really go for nifty looking in a pedal tuner. Mostly, all i want is a big ass LCD with letters on it that doesn't jump around and get confused by the input signal.

Something accurate enough to intonate a guitar would just be a bonus, which is why i have my eye on the ST-200.

WHY THE FUCK HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS?

So fuck the Polytune, I am getting an ST-200.

I really need to be able to intonate. Then I can start charging for basic setups again!

Not to mention setting up my own guitars that are desperate for some attention ....

Fo sho, folks do dig on the Turbo Tuner, seek out reviews. A lot of Peterson users seemed to be making the switch a while back, and saying good things about the TT. The price is nice too, if it truly does what folks say it does, as well as they say.

That said, for doing intonations, for free even, this fucker is hard to beat:

http://www.aptuner.com/cgi-bin/aptuner/apmain.html

All you need is a computer with a line in. Nothing fancy at all. The tuner is fast, accurate and awesome, and you can stretch it out to cover your whole monitor if you want to, so you can intonate from across the room from the PC.

Technically shareware, but it is like Reaper in that it doesn't cripple itself ever.

By now, i should probably give the guy his damn $35. I have certainly used the program enough at this point. :red:

That was the thing that shocked me about the Polytune- it seemed gimmicky to me until I actually tried the thing. It seems really useful for live work. I have a plain old TU-2 (the housing of which has managed to go microphonic, seriously) and it's... Well, it's functional, but it jumps around and gets confused by the input signal.

The Turbo Tuner I remember reading about way back on HCAF. I always had a difficult time with the Peterson strobe tuners in a studio context; I don't think I'd ever want to use something like that live. If the Turbo Tuner is less fiddly and doesn't take thirteen years to tune with, that's a different animal.

A pedal that has gone microphonic, there is a good chance that it is actually a capacitor near the input that has gone. Sometimes the blue 3PDT and the shitty black DPDT X-wing stompswitches go microphonic when they shit out too, but a Boss won't have that particular problem unless it has been modified for true bypass, which is an amusing side effect for a (generally) unnecessary mod like that.

But more likely, you have a cap that has gone goofy. Probably could be fixed without too much brain fever. Also, that is most likely why the tuning stability of the thing has gone souf, methinks.
