Vintage white. No mods but for Dunlop Straplocks (included. I'll give you the original strap buttons too.) Fender deluxe gig bag- the heavy-duty nice one. Currently strung and set up for DRs, 60-120, BEAD. One year old, gigged a handful of times. Sexcellent condition.

Snaxie would prefer a passive Jazz or P/J, 4 or 5 string. Active's not my bag.

$500 + shipping.

Sexxxsie. I like passives also. Well good luck with it, nice looking bass. What's the weight of that little beast?

It's pretty, yes, but I'm... always fighting with the activebits and usually mostly or full-on the bridge pickup because of it. I'm not down with how it sounds for what I do. :idk:

It weighs about as much as my Strat. Which weighs about as much as a nice old Les Paul, or approximately one metric tonne. I'm not kidding, either. People hate playing that guitar 'cause it's massive, the action's really high and the strings are heavy.

Sounds like my kinda girl. My old LP ('77) pancake, is approximately the same weight as two dead hookers, so I like my toanes with weight behind them.

I once, in their rehearsal space, played a mid-'70s LPC belonging to a guy from a hardcore band. He had it tuned to C# standard with one of those Zakk Wylde sets with the .070 low E. Might as well have been strung with power lines.

He claimed it weighed in at 26 muffhuggin' pounds.

As crazy as that sounds, I half believe the guy. It's seriously the heaviest instrument (that isn't a piano or organ) I've ever played. I swear the thing felt like it was made of solid lead. It, uh.. chugz'd reall nice, though... :red:

That made my Strat feel like a four-pound Ibanez strung with 9s. Everyone and their mom hates playing my Strat.

My Ibanez weighs 9lbs.

Of course, it's made of a solid slab of maple, and contains no other wood types.

I imagine if it were basswood (or plywood, as I call that shit) it'd probably weigh in about the same as a half-eaten $0.99 bag of chips.

I used to have active pickups in my Ibanez bass.

They are pretty goddamn versatile.

Yes, that too is what I am seeing.
:red:

I have to arrange a few things before I can buy it though.

Arrange them, and buy my gear. :nods:

You know how it sounds, too, from the approximately three million clips I've posted in which I'm playing the thing.
