Yar, that looks a lot like the one that in a fit of boredom, i cut out of a cracked Sabian ride cymbal with a dremel. Mine sounds wretched though. Piercingly badnews sounding stuff. |

Back then i was into it too. I remember the turning point came when i heard Ben Koller(now of Converge) in his old band FORCEFEDGLASS, playing a set on a college radio show. About 90% of the mix was whateverthefuck he was using for a bell(or bells). His playing was completely amazing back then(i liked it better than a lot of what he does in Converge) but that was one of the most annoying sounds ever. |
