Had Hoglan drummed on Ziltoid I probably would shit my pants every time I listen to it (And at the rate of the past two weeks that'd be atleast once every day).
I mean, Devin's programming is pretty good but that snare sound..
Plus Hoglan's beats just would have set that shit off.

Hoglan + Fear Factory = Win.

Yeah. Seems like Yeung is trying to play like him though. A little odd.

Apparently he's had back problems for a while, and finally had to go get surgeried for it.

That's fucked up.

Yeung is a lot better than Sandoval is terms of technicality, but Pete's drumming just sounds angry..

I wish the video/sound quality was better on this, because a couple of these beats is fly:

You can totally see why a fellow like Dave Witte would mention this dood as an influence.

I thought this was a video i had seen before, but it is something different. Pretty cool. It seems that the kit is not set up totally as Mr. Roddy would want, and it is throwing him off a little, but he still makes the best of it.

It is also always fun to see good drummers struggling with shit. It helps put things in perspective a little.

That first beat is slickness. There is a bunch of other cool shizz in there too. If i had heard this guy when i was in a metal band i probably would have developed differently as a drummer. As it was, being heavily Witte-influenced for the fast stuff myself, i guess i did get something from him indirectly, anyhow.

You know I think John Longstreth plays a beat like that one in the jam vid of the reformed Gorguts.

Around the one minute mark, or at least something similar.
