POLL: Turducken. I like the concept, and...
...think it should be applied to other animals.

I'm thinking maybe a kangaroo stuffed with a wombat stuffed with a koala, or perhaps an elephant stuffed with a giraffe stuffed with a silverback mountain gorilla. :idk:

What say you?

It is a fine choice for one's enemies.

Mmmm. Animal in animal with a side of inherent cross-contamination and likely undercookedness!

For myself, i would make it out of something less volatile, like a pie within a pie within some sort of candy.

That sounds delightful. It takes quite a while to roast a whole gorilla anyhow.

Now, i am not saying we shouldn't eat all of those other animals at the same time or anything. Rather, that they should be prepared and presented in more of the Cliche Ghengis Khan Table Piled With Excessive Meats, style.

But yes, cooked traditionally, by itself, the gorilla will roast much faster than if it were stuffed inside say a crocodile or something. Which in and of itself would be an impressive feat, but again, more along the lines of attractive in the fashion that the trojan horse was attractive to the Trojans.

Because of course, inside this delicious crocogiragorillwombakoala, is hidden a tiny but vicious army of botulism and salmonella.

And, for a little spice, perhaps the most inner beast, would be some sort of tiny Congolese ebola baby.

You can't forget the e. coli and other zoonotic diseases. Maybe some hantavirus or whatnot.

Anmal roasted inside other animals do not turn me on, but that my be the vege in me. Deep frying may make it super delicious though. Of course if you took almost anything and deep fried it with a tortilla wrapped around it, chimichanga style that would would be nomilicious.

What if I roast them separately and then stuff the one in the other in the other? Like, a tapir stuffed with a giant anteater stuffed with a giant armadillo?

are we going to deep fry each one first? We could really get the southern population down if we do that. :nods:

I'm not a huge fan of meat, however, I do wholly support the concept of delicious things crammed into other delicious things.

My favorite is deep frying a frozen candy bar dipped in pancake batter, then serving it on ice cream with chocolate syrup.

Chocolate covered bacon is pretty good, especially if you throw an extra bit of salt in there.

I've had fried beef, pork, chicken, turkey, venison, alligator and alligator snapping turtle. I've also had soups made out of the last two, both were delicious. Gator tail is kinda chewy though.
