As an aside, should one at some point find themselves compelled to purchase the Angry Orchard sampler pack of four flavors, i would suggest strongly merely this: Do Not.

Three out of four of them are quite fine actually. But that fourth is utter tastebud brutality.

Unless you are looking for something to fulfill the taste experience of "Drink Thirty Six Ounces Of Some Old Lady's Perfume".

Which is just a roundabout way of saying: please sirs, avoid at all costs, the "Elderflower" flavour option they offer.

Crisp Apple, Traditional Dry, and even Apple Ginger, however, are kind of delicious.

That the Apple Ginger would be good does not surprise me. There is an apple ginger beverage which does not contain alcohol my ex and I used to purchase from the hippieplace we got all our veganstuff at. It was delicious.

I will keep in mind that the Elderflower tastes like what the name seems to imply- some old lady's perfume.

I've always enjoyed hard ciders. If it comes up at some point that I have money I may knock one a these back to see how 'tis.

The name is in fact, oddly accurate.

As i kenna do wines (though i rather enjoy the taste of them) due to nearinstantaneous headaches, ciders are as close as i can get to a serviceable substitute.

And indeed, as a pace change from oldman beers, i find that i quite like them, factually.

How did it come out, knope?

C+ for now, satisfied but definitely improvement it possible. I think the first few went to the fridge a little early and didn't stay cold long enough. Still a little yeasty and not as "clean" as i would like which probably doesn't let the maltiness I'm expecting from a brown ale come through. I still have about 18 left, I'll be patient with these and report any improvements.

A pint glass of reisling, because I hate my life. I really shouldn't be drinking at all, but I'll make an exception; besides, it was a gift.

Riesling is just tasty juice that may or may not get you drunk.

Some of that dandelion wine I made some two years ago...

It actually really improved with age. It was pretty hard to drink before but now it is mellow and effervescent.

Got a sampler of their shit. Not as into it as i was the Angry Orchard stuff.

The Woodchuck stuff all seems to be more applejuice-like, a lot sweeter. IMO, too sweet.

Reaaaally iggin' it. Also, drank some Angry Orchard's cider and this tasty brew:

Elysian Superfuzz sounds like a distortion pedal.

That was what indeed drew me to it besides the fact that I am into that particular brewery. The mix of citrus and pale ale is really quite good. Still had a prominent hoppy flavor but nothing like a decently strong IPA (this one's an APA and 5.4%) so the orange flavor really shines through a lot. Good stuff, would recommend.
