Can you grab a pictar showing what type? If they are newer than the 70's era of design as in the above pictar, then they will probably have simple electret microphones innem.

The best possible choice are these proper ancient ones, because they have proper ancient technology carbon microphones in them, which give that lovely rotten mechanically restricted frequency range sweetness.

However, if one merely wishes to do some microphonating into a telemophone, i am sure that either could be bodged to go. The ancient ones would just sound more gnarlier.


So I has three right now that look pretty much exactly like the one above.

Like exactly, just a little darker.

Double Awesome. I will have to see if i can find one in the pit downstairs that i can make work and see which manner is bast for modificating them. Once i know what works, i would gladly modificate whatever you care send me, for maplitonian distributionz.

It would not necessarily be superfast turnaround, because i currently don't have XLR ends, or alternately, the other bits listed in the second mod. But i will do them up when i get the required bits forrit. :isay:
