Re: Blog/tweet about shit in your life here I was recommended it by an acquaintance of mine, and while I don't usually drink beer (and when I do, I beat my wife and kids savagely?  ) this was pretty fantastic. It's now on my short list of beers I will actively acquire, along with Rusty Chain and Edmund Fitzgerald. I was considering trying Great Lakes Elliot Ness, but chose this instead, and we were duly rewarded. There's a couple Polish ones whose names I can't spell that I like, along with Stone porter and Rogue Dead Guy. I suppose if I'm going in that direction, it's all-or-nothing beat-you-in-the-face. Given my beer taste runs toward dark-and-heavy, are there any you'd recommend?

It's the "meh, what I'm used to" and then "wow, these are actually really good!". Like, they are good headphones, never mind they fit in your ears. If anyone knows where the in-between is, they should let others know 'cause we can't always swing the bucks for the nice stuff.

It was overdriving loud. But either way she listens to music way too loudly anyway. In my experience, music through headphone/earbuds always sounds best at the lowest possible volume that the enviorment allows. When I had an Ipod and I was alone in my room the volume would be just bearly on. You really hear everything MUCH clearer at low volumes. Isn't one of the super basic mixing tricks to put the volume in the monitors/headphones WAY down and mix? Fingers crossed, might trade my SD-1 for a GE-7. I'm going to mod the fuck out of that GE-7
