I have been getting a lot of little recording gigs in my basement lately. I am having to fit bands in to a 'schedule'. I could get used to this...

ok so things are getting complicated.... The band that is current;y gigging the most has a couple of guys that just play too drunk. They are amateurs at playing drunk. I'm all for getting your load on and playing but I've been doing it a long as time and know when to stop. I audition for the GnR tribute tomorrow, I just got a call from the singer in my other band and he auditioned for another band that is very busy and is looking for a rhythm/keys guy and we do a shitload of the same tunes in both bands, this new band plays 4-5 times a month and gets the money... they turn down anything under $1200/show, for cover gigs....

For cover t00ns? Follow the money. (Ass-you-me-ing it's something you can stand playing, of course!) I think I know the answer to that non-question.

Also, guys, stop when you start to suck. Nigga please. I don't care if you want to have a few or smoke a J or whatever your deal is. But there is a point at which no one wants to see you. Please stop before then. And if you're just having an awful time of things and want to get shithammered, wait until afterward. And if this makes you extra-pissed-off, this is a good thing, take my word on it.

yeah, it's for cover toons, this band is with a booking agency that gets teh semolians for teh bandz. And for the songs, 75% of their tunes I do in another cover band already... I referred by the singer in the my other band, he called and said we're just not busy enough, and he knows I'm looking for an out with the lush band. The GnR tribute only plays about once a month, because they ask for good money as well.
