I went back there today to satisfy my curiosity and found exactly zero topics I was interested in reading.

I find that about 90% of the time that i poast there anymore, it is either in one of your threads, or one of Mr Holland's.

I have actually been poasting more at fx, out of boredom, and out of the fact that those young'ns like a lot of the sounds i like. Unfortunately, they also really like 'post rock'.

I have no idea who any of those people are but it sounds like they need to be on the millennium falcon in the new star wars movie.

It's either in response to you, Mr. newholland, or draelyc, or a random comment on AC30s or similar. And the former are... usually all discussing lowish wattage rockmaps.

I should go back and check out HCFX again. I used to read the spam thread roughly every day, but never posted much there.

I go on there from time to time now to check my spammage.

I even made a post there the other day


I like HCFX better, but they have their fair share of lameness as well.

There was indeed a golden age of sorts, of ridiculous comedy back when you and ToS were both still running about there, untethered.

I hasn't touched the stuff after a bit of binge a few years back.

Let me tell you though, it was an amazing three days.

Goddamn, I suffered my friends on coke this Thursday again. Same old story... this look in their eyes like they've seen the horrors of war, the inescapable conversations about childhood, family, etc... And one of them had this string of snotspit connecting his lips that I kept wiping away, and it kept coming back.

Wow, that sounds god awful.

When I do coke I play a lot of Grand Theft Auto and guitar. Then I usually start writing. When I notice my writing starts to slant toward the depressed side, I break out the whiskey. That usually straightens me out a bit.

Then I do more coke.


Also, I find I am more of a reclusive user. I don't think I could stand being around other people when I am coked up.

They are doing it wrong. They should be dancing like idiots. And who talks about their family and childhood when they're fucked up? No one I want to be around, that's fer goddamnsure. Icky icky icky.

Stimulants are not about being thoughtful or in the case of snotguy, not paying attention. They are failing at being wasted. They shouldd be hyperfocused on getting their groove on. Also, if they were doing this at home, doublefail.

Why am I opining on the proper way to tweak?

Eh, I do coke at home.

But once again I think it comes from me reacting to drugs differently than most. I seem to never respond to drugs with the conventional high.

That said, I could not bear to be on coke without some form of music on. Come to think of it, most of the stuff I listen to when tweakin' has dancy beats and loud distorted guitars.
