This was a good few years ago, when they were just changing over from their old band Cryptic Warning (All the same guys, just a slightly different style). They had another guy on vocals for a little bit, not sure what happened there. Realistically I wouldn't have gotten the gig anyway. Oh, and Abnormality's recording with the same guy they did, Pete Rutcho. He's awesome. (Hell of a guitarist too.)

I had rather similar situations for probably about half of the metal bands in the local scene anyway [The Powerglove thing's a little different, though, since I was actually IN that band for a bit.] Doesn't surprise me that one or two of them happened to get big. 'sides, I'm absolutely brimming with confidence about Abnormality and the direction we're heading.

I mean, there is one around here, but it's over-inflated with shitty core bands.
I need to find my band a drummer and bassist...
