Interestingly, yesterday i tried another recipe for making some english muffins. But as i was making it it struck me as familiar though i could not place why. After the first ones cooked, it became clear. Basically it was a slightly modified pancake/waffle batter, and the "muffins" are really basically just 4"x1" pancakes.
So today i will be eating my egg on a fork split pancake.
Proper waffles with bacon etc. would be better, for sure.
