Razor burn is serious business, and I'm not even joking. That shit is real.

I considered it, but it has been a bit humidwarm of late, and it was pissing me off.

Face hurts because it was like half an inch long and the razor can't really brawl with that, so it pulls out almost as much as it cuts, and then you have to go over the same sections a bunch of times to get it properly shaved off, and by the end, the skin that has been protected and shaded by the wall of fuzz for the last couple weeks, is now torn the fuck up and exposed.

Hurts like a motherfuck for an hour or so, then tapers off to a general light unpleasance.

Expect to hear short, raw clips of DM drumming pretty soon. Maybe even tonight, they shall be a little teaser of what's to come.

Fuckballs polesmoking bitchass. My computer still doesn't work- it taunted me by staying stable exactly long enough for me to reinstall everything- and is back to crashing constantly. FUN, WOW!

But I ain't got time to bleed.



I suppose I'll be doing the rest of the Garda record on the i5 at the Snaxodrome. Whatevs.

My power supply just exploded in my PC, and now the entire thing is fuckered.

So that whole buying a new recording PC thing is about to happen like, a lot sooner. FUCK did not need that expense right now.

Basically its the cheapest i7 laptop available on Tigerdirect and Newegg. Now to check i5 based systems.

Yo, that seems like a pretty solid computerbox. You will want an external fastdrive for recording when you get to that point, but it has a lot going for it. Also, as a new Asus, you will get the excellent two year warranty they have which also even covers accidental damage for a year. Pretty doap.

I love my Asus. Aside from building from scratch, whatever i replace this with someday, i actually expect to just be a newer version of the same thing i already have. This thing has been a tank for me.

Yeah the mobo and processor (2nd Gen i7 ) are rock solid. Graphics card is nifty but unnecessary (it will probably be turned off for a majority of the time), I can double up the ram to 8gb if I want to and it is the right size (I hate anything over 16"). It has the USB 2.0 slots I'll need for my new interface when I get it and a faster external drive.

Putting my studio back together after my new roommate moved into my old one. A nice empty room for me to play with, I think I might put up wall hangers for my guitars ....

Just got the recordings back from my band of the short song chunks with guitar included.. I gotta say, this is some seriously heavy shit. The amount of stoked I am is indescribable.

Coffee and burritos sounds like a delicious night spent wide awake in the facilities. But approved nonetheless.

Hopefully not. Stomach doesn't feel wobbly as yet. If I'm gonna get the coffee shits it's usually within half hour of drinking it. So far so good

yeah, we did one set, good pay, free room and board and free drinks. Lotsa free drinks. Well let's say about 4 too many free drinks. also, 1 arrest, 1 OD on alcohol and Xanex and one allergic reaction = 2 ambulances, 2 stoppages during a 75 minute set.

No ralphing on my part but probably would have felt much better. We got up drove 2 1/2 hours home, was then 12:15 I was still drunk, showered and hit the stage @ 1:00 as a guest guitarist for my old band, (good thing too, other guitarists cable went out for the first song so he wasn't working) Good thing the gig was about 3 minutes from my house. I looked like battered shit, Chick asked me if I was ok, I guess I was pretty pale, and of course I looked like a whore with my eyeliner still whored out from the night before, but guess I cleaned up good enough and no one could see my eyes (outdoor gig, sunglasses were a help) I was finally able to put something in my stomach around 3 pm. Took my little girl to a concert and then once home I started drinking again. Hair o' the dog and all....
