Pitch correction automatically applied as a matter of course has to fucking stop, now. It's roughly as transparent an effect as running the vocal through a Dual Rec, too, even if you're not trying to be T-Pain or whatnot. Fuck that noise.

Huh, looks like i will be recoarding a friend's band this weekend. Haven't heard the band yet, but it is supposed to be punk sorts of sounds. Haven't decided how simple or complex i am going to do it yet either. Probably pretty simple.
Still, i need to corral as many mic stands from friends as possible. I have er... two?
Otherwise... i am going to have to be bringing my staple gun, a roll of baling wire, and a roll of blue painter's tape...
