How do foreign conflicts factor into the level of indigenous peoples killed?

...and why, may I ask, did someone put cutesy hearts on that picture? :lol: That being my inspiration for posting this beyond the randomness of blurting out "Rutherford B. Hayes!" Was some reconstruction-era-obsessed teenage girl writing Rutherford B. Hayes slash fic or something? :shock:

We would have to figure out some sort of sliding scale that accounted somehow for skin melanin content and geographical proximity to washington dc, i would think. You know like Adjusted Indigenous Peoples Kill Ratio. Or maybe something that spelled out something more neatly than AIPKR. It will need some work.

I believe they are his Purple Hearts.

He was wounded on five separate incidents serving as a Brigadier General in the Union military during the Civil war.
