I've met more than one musician like that... I know an older guy who likes to play a synth with his feet, tap a guitar with one hand, and a bass with the other. It's kind of awkward to watch, but they're into it and you're not going to convince them that they should be doing it any other way. |

The bass groove is pretty cool, gotta say. My bassist came into a bit of money and is ordering a stick. And perhaps a Steinberger upright.  In his defense, he wants to run 'em through a shitload of effects. |

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Chapman Sticks. I respect Tony Levin as a musician on a HUGE fucking level. His main riff on Frame By Frame? Holy shit, that's one of the most haunting pieces of music I've ever heard. But this guy is just a huge fucking douche abusing the instrument and not at all grasping the musical techniques and concepts provided by The Stick. |
