I've thought about it for a minute and maybe an Axe-FX would be great for you.

Lots of interesting shit to fuck around with, and I know you DO like to experiment with that bullshit from time to time from some of the little babydick clips you've sent me.
Also, it would be a good way for you to get great tone on recording without much effort (I also know how much that shit pisses you off).

All I want is a sick ass Direct record rig. I dont use an amp anymore, ex when Im jammin with my bros, at their house. My marshall, vht cabs just sit here, and my randall rg hasnt been turned on in ages. My at home rig is guitar > od9 > tc g maj > interface with poulin plugins. :lol: Fuck mic recording.

I think Cam is right on here, Snax-FX might just be what you're looking for. Lots of options in that little box.
