joining the coast guard for quite some time. Anyone know anyone that is or has been in it?

My buddy was going to join, and right before he was about to swear in they basically said all the benefits and pay he was supposed to get was bullshit.

So he never swore in.

A math teacher I had in high school was in it. He was a pretty cool guy so I guess that means the Coast Guard is pretty cool.

Many reasons, but Ill just name a few for him.

1. Couldnt pass the physical fitness test if his life depended on it.

2. They dont have room to train special needs children.

3. They dont start drinking booze at 11 am every morning

The only thing I have been drinking recently is warm spiced apple cider spiked with the 100 proof captain morgan.

I'd usually use better rum, but I went to the college-area liquor store which just sells crap.

Works for me. I don't date anything anymore, though, so I just stick with the drinking. The principle is the same, though.

And honestly, Dev, the Captain 100 Proof isn't that bad. It mixes well. Anything other than regular Captain that they make is noticeably better. :dukes:
