I am finally emerging from about 2 months of people all up in my space, most recently more than a month straight of my mom visiting.

It is weird, finally have a lot of ability to do whatever i want fro a change. Just kind of tired though instead. Hopefully i snap out of it soon.

Also: Bought an epiphone casino. I shouldn't have bought another guitar, but i like it anyhow. :red:

Cool as hell played loud. Its hollowness makes some really interesting howls happen.

I had a Casino for a bit, I liked it, but best friend drummer borrowed it, knocked it over and brokeded its neck... I sold it, or rather traded it.

Since then I have repaired my own headstock break.
Did I mention that? Shit I should take pics and post.... Well good to see you back here Chris. :beer:

In other news I fianlly have progressed that ranks in Martial arts to have taken my black belt test.

was my 2007 Les Paul. It happened about 3 months ago, and I just sat there sadly gazing at it for 2 months then glued it. She had been great since.

and I just got word, I passed the black belt test.

thanks Gents. 8 1/2 years and 2 surgeries and shitload of weight gone. Add in bionic legs and ninja skillz. I did very well, not only passed but dominated the entire division.

Long time no speak, hope everyone is well. My band finally got some stuff finished and online. Sadly the 2 tracks we recorded are my least favourite and the most generic ones we do, but go ahead and give us a sympathy like on facebook if you're into it at all :red: hopefully we can get some of the newer riffy stuff recorded

Reminds me a lot of a band i used to love from the old days(mid-to-late-nineties), Only Living Witness. Something about the big guitar combo with the type of singer you have. I dig it.

Cheers I'll have to check that band out! Yeah we've been playing together for just over a year now actually which is a record for originals bands for me. Had my frustrations with it but that was due to a lack of a singer for a long part of it - since we've had him back on board we've got our shit together and have useful practices rather than aimless jamming.

They were always an interesting mix between the guitars and the singer. The drums are pretty rad too, very solid rock vibes with some interesting angles the way they lock into the guitars in parts.

Band is starting up again so that is nice. Shooting to release one if not two five-track EP's this year. Coming back with a bit of a toned down vibe, and probably with a new bassist but that has been a long time coming.

Also picked up a Loar LH-309. It's dope. Big hollow sound, decently loud unplugged and the p90 sounds pretty great plugged in. I've never owned an acoustic before, and this is about the closest I will get for some time.

joined band #4 - an Aerosmith tribute so here is the run down - Grimm Jack - original band , The GnR tribute, Aerosmith tribute and a 90's + newer covers (called the Alternative)

Just starting a 90 Challenge to eat properly and train more (still training like a beast)

And in updated news Chris has been very generous so Maplifiers will be around for quite a while.
