I managed to slice my fretting hand middle finger, with an Xacto knife, in exactly the spot that needs to press against the strings to play guitar. Shit is taking its sweet fucking time healing up.

Nah, it hurt like some kind of motherfuck too. The cut is like exactly in line and in the spot that the string goes. If it wasn't bleedy, the string could go into my finger in the valley i cut for it.

I am thinking that if i could manufacture some sort of jig to sturdily hold the thing point up, i could just sort of lean forward, and let gravity be that assistant.
