| Post subject: | Best way to find local bands to join? |
I am very much wanting to find a new local metal band to join.. I have tried the myspace search dealie (tedious) and looked on craigslist (turned up nothing, though not surprisingly). Just wondering if there's a more obvious method that I am missing.. Maybe living in Seattle and actually knowing musicians would help.

Maybe, but that seems like such a pain/process.. Starting a band as just a vocalist wouldn't be easy. I am in Mukilteo, nig nog. Little rich, white suburb about 15 minutes from Seattle.

Word? Where you at the local GC or buying some dude in the area's amp? Well, I'm good.. I got some material, I'm just not quite sure how to arrange all of the "getting my shit out there" process and finding actual quality DM musicians. Not easy around here.. |

around here I use CL to find bands, also hookers. but That's another story, although pretty much music can be whoring yourself out also... |

Friend asked me to start a band with him not even 3 weeks ago. Already on our way to getting a full 5 members. Got two guitarists, me on tha bass, have a singer recruited and are looking at drummers now. It's coming along a lot faster than I thought it would be. |
