Ah yes, I know the feeling.

I think it is either a built-up immunity, or a complete overdose.

I can only assume the former, having experienced a proper caffeine overdose before, which was not fun. I took a lot of caffeine pills. It pretty much involves :eekass: :barf: :panic: , after which one passes out and then you're very awake for a good long while. Now I just kinda want to go to sleep.

Ahh yes. I call that the old Caffeine Coma.

It was the old Caffiene Coma that dealt the first blow to my quest for jittery domination of the night.

As far as i can tell, for me, it largely had to do with a change in how my body processed the stuff somewhere around when i turned thirty or so.

Basically, it became that i could no longer simply assume that the more stuff i needed to get done, the more caffeine i needed to consume. Which was the state of affairs previous.

In the modern era, i have to tread a much more careful line: simply ingesting enough to sharpen my brainstick, and not a drop more.

The obvious solution for you of course, would be to switch to cocaine.

Or acid.

It's hard to sleep on acid.

Also, I'm dropping acid tonight :D Gotta love random drug gifts from friends.

The cocaine bit worked for David Bowie. That could yield results. Best served with a fine red wine.

Hallucinogens are something I'd like to avoid if at all possible. I am a bit too not-right to begin with for that to end anything but badly. You're welcome to my allotted share of that, assuming it's rationed.

I think my general fucked up thought process lends to my enjoyment of acid.

Then again, I think of it more as a "talk my friends ear off and go on tremendous rants before writing my best material" type of drug over a hallucinogen. This may be due to the fact I seem to react to every single drug differently from everyone else. But hey, do what you like and like what you do. I imagine we could have some awesome conversations if all of us were on our drug of choice for one night.

You know what, I think I might try to get on maps whilst trippins. Maybe record some stuff (DI to not piss off my neighbors) to see if I can even play guitar as well as I think I do on drugs.

FUCK I just remembered I still haven't sent Geoff my acka-lackas. NEED TO DO THIS BEFORE I TRIP TONIGHT.
