Re: Post awesome pictures I'm not much of a vodka drinker, but to be fair I drink with college kids and hipsters mostly and they drink cheap shit. Post pictures of good not-stupid-expensive vodka? Does such a thing exist? Come to think of it, I seem to prefer the dark liquors over the clear stuff

Re: Post awesome pictures Svedka was okay until we got Sobieski. Those are actually drinkable and pretty inexpensive. (As opposed to cheap; there's a difference.) Russian Standard, if you can find it, is very good and not pricey. Other than than, I like Ciroc and Pravda. Goose is okay, Belvedere is quite good (rumour is Sobieski is Belvedere with less filtering- both are from the same place and made from rye...) Those are pretty pricey though. Smirnoff is not good, Absolut is a waste of money.

Re: Post awesome pictures Yer welcome.  Sobieski will run you about a twenty for the big (1.75l) bottle and it is far from Hangover Juice. There's an Old Man Polack Bar around here I've seen a few shows at (it's an odd place) that uses that as their well vodka and this means They Know What's Up. You can drink this straight and not hate yourself for it. It is your value-for-money option in the vodka world. Russian Standard if you want to pay a bit more, but it is quality. Put it in the freezer and serve it cold, neat. Or make martinis with it.
