Sound beefy as FUCK. Got a pack of 3 for 15 bux. Figured id give them a try. Still like my regular DR's better but these are pretty sick for the price. Go get some.

DRs are nice. I like them on my bassophones. 11 is the best of all possible string gauges. In standard E, naturlich.

Fuck, I am stuck on a Windows workstation for a bit and don't know where the umlaut is.

Umlaut "u" is alt+0252 = ü

Also: alt+0223 = ß

Speaking of c# - Snaxie did you see the vid of Ty Tabor explaining his guitar parts and they now tune to drop C...... sucks getting old, even Dug can't hit that shit... at like 60....

I can't say that I have. They've been doing the low tuning thing for some years now at varying degrees of low, though; much of Dogman's in C# if I'm remembering right, there's stuff on later records (Mr. Bulbous among them) down to, like, A.

Didn't Jimmy Page tune down a fair bit at that one-off Zeppelin thing a few years back, a step and a half or so? 'Cause Robert Plant isn't hitting those notes anytime soon these days either.

11's in e standard represent

another good way to do an umlaut is ctrl+shift+: let go and then press u. Doesnt work in all browers, but works in Word consistently.
