I'd buy another just for the lead channel. Is there something wrong with me, as I usually left the graphic pretty well flat? I'd maybe cut the low mids and boost the high mids a little and that was it.

You are a man of fine taste, tor. And I shall let you know if I encounter anything of worth. Snaxie, Flat is good when you want ze mids. You should get another one along with the Shiva and Fender. Were you able to snag that Silverface? |

It sold before I even heard back from the guy. My other guitarist actually emailed him too before telling me about the thing under the assumption that I'd go for it and he'd wind up picking it up and delivering it. The tragedy. I missed out on a 32 channel Soundcraft Ghost for cheap ($600) today on Ebay because I was at work at the time and don't remember my password off the top of my head. Thus is my week. And yes, they're fairly similar. They all pretty well do the same thing in subtly different flavors. The Mark I is the most different of all of them, I think. III is supposed to be a bit meaner, but I haven't directly A/Bed it to a I, II, IV or V. I've played and heard other people play them all and owned the IV "A" with the IIC+ lead channel which was my main gigging amp for a bit. They are what they are. (IE. Awesome.) |
