Wait... the amp is muddy when you have the mids all the way down? I wonder why? ![]() And an amp that countless Youtubers get excellent metal tones from doesn't have enough gain for death metal? Sometimes I wonder why I read reviews on MF...

MF reviews are about as useful as poop flavored popsicle. |

No Peavey amps have any gain or midrange. Everybody knows this. Tell me something nobody knows.

"You masturbate more than anyone else on the planet." "Shit everyone knows that, tell me something I don't know!" "When you do it, you are thinking about guys" "... not all the time ..." I almost watched that last night. Then, I watched the White House Correspondents Dinner videos of Seth Meyers and Obama. It was pretty funny. |

Some people's ears don't seem to work the same way. They think scooping makes a tone smoother or clearer or something... They think mids sound muddy... I have to play with this type too often. |

I don't get how one could make that mistake. Cracking the mids knob oughta make your amp sound like Fran Drescher, and when you're tuned low with distortion, that's metal as fuck. |

I think the lower you're tuned, the less scoopage you can get away with. You need the mids to do their thing. That's not a sound that works when you're down low. |
